What we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it.

Who we are
IndiePlan sells digital products — Notion templates, guides, workbooks and planners — at https://indieplan.co.uk. If you have any question about your data, email hello@indieplan.co.uk.
What we collect
We collect only what we need to sell you something and deliver it.
- Your email address, and your first name where you have given it, when you sign up for a free resource or our emails.
- Your name, email address and billing details when you make a purchase. Payment card details are handled entirely by Stripe — they never reach our servers and we never see them.
- Your order details: what you bought, when, and how much you paid.
- Anything you tell us directly when you contact us for support.
How we use it
- To deliver the products you have bought and provide support.
- To send you the free resources and emails you have asked for.
- To keep records of sales as required for tax and accounting.
- To understand, in aggregate, how the site is used so we can improve it.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal data. Ever.
- We do not share your data with third parties for their own marketing.
- We do not email you marketing you have not asked for.
Who processes your data
Stripe processes payments on our behalf and holds the billing information required to take a payment and handle refunds and chargebacks. Stripe is an independent data controller for that information and has its own privacy policy.
Where we use an email provider to send the messages you have subscribed to, that provider stores your email address and name for that purpose alone.
Analytics and cookies
The site does not currently load any third-party analytics or advertising trackers. If that changes, this policy and our cookie policy will be updated before it happens, and consent will be sought where the law requires it.
The site uses your browser's local storage to remember the contents of your basket between visits. That information stays on your device and is never transmitted to us.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires. Email subscribers are kept until you unsubscribe, after which your address is removed from the mailing list.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how we use it. Email us and we will action it — we aim to respond within a few days and always within one month.
You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) if you believe we have handled your data improperly.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes affecting how we use your data will be communicated to subscribers by email.
