About IndiePlan
Built for people building their own thing.
IndiePlan makes practical digital tools for freelancers, creators, solopreneurs and side-hustlers — the people whose work doesn’t come with a company handbook, an admin team or a system somebody else already set up.

Why IndiePlan exists
The gap nobody fills
When you work for yourself, nobody hands you a system. There’s no onboarding, no shared drive with a sensible folder structure, no finance team quietly making sure the invoices went out.
So you improvise. A spreadsheet here, a notes app there, a mental list of everything you’re slightly behind on. It works, right up until it doesn’t — usually around the point where there’s enough work coming in to matter.
Most advice for this moment is either wildly over-engineered or vague enough to be useless. IndiePlan sits in between: specific, practical tools that do one job well.
You don’t need a more complicated life. You need a better system.
The philosophy
Plan · Organise · Build · Grow
Four steps, in that order. Every product sits somewhere on this line.
Plan
Decide what matters before the week decides for you.
Organise
Give everything one place to live.
Build
Turn intentions into things that exist.
Grow
Keep a rhythm you can sustain.
What we make
Three kinds of thing
- Notion systems
- Connected workspaces for clients, projects, content, money and goals. Built to be duplicated and used the same day.
- Guides
- The thinking behind the systems — pricing, scoping, audience, launching. Written to be finished and acted on.
- Workbooks & planners
- Working documents you fill in. You come out the other side with decisions made, not notes taken.
Who it's for
People without a handbook
- Freelancers juggling clients, projects and invoices
- Creators running content like the business it has become
- Solopreneurs holding every function at once
- Side-hustlers building in the hours around a job
- Anyone who wants their own life to feel less scattered
Why these are different
Four deliberate choices
Built to be used, not admired
Plenty of templates look incredible in a screenshot and collapse the moment you put real work in them. Ours are deliberately plainer and considerably more durable.
Small enough to actually finish
Every product is scoped so you can set it up in an evening. A system you never finish configuring is worse than no system at all.
Honest about what they do
No claims that a template will transform your life. A good system removes friction and makes decisions visible. That's genuinely valuable, and it's enough.
They connect to each other
The guides explain the thinking; the templates give it somewhere to live. Buy two and they fit together, because they were designed together.
