FAQ

Questions, answered straight

If something you need isn't here, just ask — we'd rather answer than have you guess.

How do Notion templates work?

When you buy a Notion template you get a link to a Notion page. Open it and click Duplicate in the top-right corner, and a complete copy lands in your own Notion workspace.

From that point it is entirely yours. You can rename things, delete what you do not need, add your own sections, and use it however suits you. Your copy is independent of ours, so nothing we do afterwards changes your version.

Do I need a paid Notion account?

No. Every IndiePlan template works on Notion's free personal plan, which has unlimited pages and blocks for individual use.

You would only need a paid Notion plan if you wanted to collaborate with a team in the same workspace — and that is a Notion requirement, not ours.

How do I receive my purchase?

Immediately. After payment you are taken straight to a page with your template links and downloads, and the same details are emailed to you.

If the email has not arrived within a few minutes, check your spam folder. If it is not there, email us and we will resend it straight away.

Can I use the products commercially?

Yes. You can use IndiePlan products to run your own business, including using them to deliver work for your clients.

What you cannot do is resell or redistribute the product itself — sharing your copy, publishing it as your own template, or handing the raw template to a client as a deliverable. The digital product terms set this out in full.

Are products refundable?

If a product is faulty, does not work, or is not as described, we will fix it or refund you.

Because digital products are delivered instantly, the usual 14-day change-of-mind cancellation right ends once you access the product — this is standard for digital content and you agree to it at checkout. In practice, if something has genuinely gone wrong, talk to us and we will sort it out.

What happens if I have a problem?

Email hello@indieplan.co.uk and tell us what went wrong. We aim to reply within two working days.

Most problems are a missing email or a Notion duplication question, and both take minutes to resolve.

Will I get future updates?

Where a product says it includes free lifetime updates, yes — you get every future version at no extra cost.

Because Notion templates are duplicated into your own workspace, an update never overwrites your copy. We let you know a new version exists and you decide whether to adopt it.

Can I buy a product and then upgrade to a bundle?

Yes. If you buy something individually and later buy a bundle containing it, get in touch and we will refund the duplicate.

Still stuck?

We answer every message ourselves. There’s no ticket queue.
