What you are buying

You are buying a licence to use the product. You are not buying the copyright, which stays with IndiePlan.

What you may do

• Use the product for your own personal or business purposes, for as long as you like.
• Change it, rename it, strip it back or extend it however you want in your own workspace.
• Use it in a business you own, including client work you deliver using it.
• Keep using it forever — there is no subscription and no expiry.

What you may not do

• Resell, relicense, sublicense or redistribute the product, in whole or in part.
• Share your copy, download link or template link with anyone else.
• Publish it as your own template, free or paid, including as a modified version.
• Include it in a paid course, membership or bundle without written permission.

Client work

You may use IndiePlan products to deliver work for your clients — setting a client's workspace up using a template you own is fine.

You may not hand the raw template over as a deliverable, or charge a client for the template itself. If you want a client to have their own copy, they need their own licence. Get in touch about multi-seat licensing.

Updates

Where a product says it includes free lifetime updates, you get every future version of that product at no extra cost.

Notion templates are duplicated into your own workspace, so updates do not overwrite your copy. You will be told when a new version is available and can choose whether to adopt it.

Notion requirement

Notion templates require a Notion account. Notion's free personal plan is sufficient for every IndiePlan template. Notion is a third-party service and its availability, pricing and features are outside our control.

If the licence is breached

Redistributing a product ends your licence. Realistically, we are a small independent business and would far rather have a conversation than a dispute — if you are unsure whether something is allowed, just ask at hello@indieplan.co.uk.
